Nabla Raises $70M Series C to Expand Agentic AI Platform for Clinical Workflows
Nabla, developer of a widely adopted AI assistant used by over 130 healthcare organizations, has raised a $70 million Series C round led by HV Capital, bringing its total funding to $120 million. The funding will accelerate the development of Nabla's agentic AI platform, designed to proactively streamline clinical documentation, coding, and electronic health record (EHR) tasks.
The company's AI assistant currently supports more than 85,000 clinicians, managing approximately 20 million clinical encounters annually across ambulatory, pediatric, behavioral health, and emergency settings. Nabla has begun expanding into inpatient and nursing workflows, with new capabilities planned for coding assistance, context-aware EHR commands, and customized support for various clinical roles.

Nabla's adaptive agentic platform
Nabla's AI integrates ambient listening, dictation, and real-time coding suggestions within a single platform, reportedly cutting clinician documentation time by more than half, according to peer-reviewed studies at University of Iowa Health Care and real-world data from Denver Health. The assistant is compatible with major EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, athenahealth, NextGen, and Greenway, and supports 35 languages.
With the new funding, Nabla intends to extend its technology to include proactive coding support, context-aware EHR interactions using historical patient data, and tailored workflow solutions specifically for nurses and inpatient care providers.
The startup was co-founded by Alex Lebrun (CEO), Delphine Groll (COO), and Martin Raison (CTO). Its leadership team includes former Permanente Federation CIO Dr. Ed Lee as Chief Medical Officer, with Yann LeCun and Tony Fadell serving as advisors.
