Experity Rolls Out AI-Integrated Partner Ecosystem to Streamline Urgent Care Operations
Experity has launched a Partner Ecosystem aimed at integrating AI-based tools into urgent care operations. The initiative, announced this week, expands the company's software infrastructure to accommodate third-party solutions across core administrative and clinical functions. Experity currently provides technology services to 22 of the 25 largest urgent care groups in the U.S.
Experity was acquired by private equity firm GTCR in 2022. At the time, the transaction was valued between $1.2-1.3 billion, according to reporting by Axios. GTCR acquired a majority stake from Warburg Pincus, which retained a minority interest. The deal followed several years of growth, including the 2019 merger of DocuTap and Practice Velocity to form Experity, and expansion from 1,300 to over 5,700 clinics served between 2016 and 2022.
The first set of integrations includes:
- ChartSwap – Facilitates secure medical and billing record exchange, reducing turnaround time and administrative burden.
- Medallion – Automates credentialing and operational compliance using AI to detect data gaps and payer mismatches.
- Flip – Handles appointment scheduling, payment, and call center traffic via AI, reducing missed calls and improving collections.
- Master Clinicians – Provides continuing medical education (CME) content on demand to support upskilling and decision-making for providers.
According to Experity, early deployments have shown promising operational impact with missed calls dropping from 50% to 5% at Flip-enabled clinics, and AI-validated claims submissions with Medallion reducing resubmission rates below 1%, with a sub-10-day average turnaround.
A broader set of partner solutions spanning pharmaceutical delivery, demand generation, and back-office automation is expected to be announced in the next two quarters. The company’s industry event, Urgent Care Connect, will be held in February 2026 in Nashville and will showcase additional ecosystem offerings.
