PhID contains six different types of entities: drugs(chemicals), target(proteins), diseases, genes, side-effects, and pathways, which integreted from 14 public resources (list below).The results of entities retrieved and mapping from theses databases are summarized in Table-1.xls.

PhID provides visualize the comlex relationships among diseases, targets, drugs, genes, side-effects and pathways. Users can search the database using the entities names or common database indentifiers like Drugbank, HMDB, Uniprot, OMIM, HGNC, SIDER and SMPDB. It also provides two tools to predict drug-target interactions.
