Supreme Group has announced the acquisition of BioStrata, a Cambridge-based marketing and public relations agency specializing in the life sciences. BioStrata is recognized for its comprehensive services across various life science sectors, having supported over 200 organizations in areas such as research tools, medical devices, diagnostics, contract research and manufacturing, and biopharma.

This acquisition, backed by the growth-oriented private equity firm Trinity Hunt Partners, significantly expands Supreme Group’s service offerings and global reach.

Tom Donnelly, CEO of Supreme Group, emphasized the strategic value of the acquisition:

"This fourth acquisition marks a significant milestone on our path to building a world-class platform serving a broad range of companies in life science and healthcare. BioStrata’s integrated communications and marketing expertise will enable us to better serve the diverse needs of life science companies, broaden our client base, and further expand our footprint in the UK and Europe."

BioStrata will continue to operate as a standalone entity within Supreme Group, with its leadership team remaining intact. Clare Russell, co-founder and Managing Director of BioStrata, will assume the role of President, while co-founder Paul Avery will take on the role of VP Marketing at Supreme Group.

Russell expressed her enthusiasm about the acquisition, noting:

"Joining Supreme Group opens up exciting new possibilities for BioStrata, our clients, and our team. This partnership strengthens our position in the life science marketing landscape and enhances our service offering with specialized digital expertise. It also brings new growth opportunities for our talented team. We’re thrilled to work alongside Supreme Group’s leadership, who share our commitment to excellence, passion for the life science sector, and dedication to fostering a positive, engaging, and prosperous work environment for our people."

The acquisition also aligns with Trinity Hunt Partners' strategy of investing in industry-leading healthcare and business services companies. Mike Steindorf, a partner at Trinity Hunt, emphasized that the integration of BioStrata into their portfolio, alongside other firms such as Supreme Optimization, Clarity Quest, and Health+Commerce, positions the group as a leading global provider of life science marketing and communications.

Fabric Business Solutions, led by Tim O'Connor and Mark Stroud, served as the exclusive advisor to BioStrata during the acquisition process.
