Pavlo Mozharovskyi, PhD

Currently a professor at Télécom Paris within the Signal, Statistique et Apprentissage (S2A) team at the Information Processing and Communication Laboratory (LTCI), Pavlo completed studies in automation control and informatics at Kyiv Polytechnic Institute before obtaining a PhD in 2014 from the University of Cologne, where research focused on nonparametric and computational statistics, as well as classification. Following a year as a postdoctoral fellow at the Centre Henri Lebesgue at Agrocampus Ouest in Rennes, Pavlo worked on imputation of missing values and later joined the CREST laboratory at the National School of Statistics and Information Analysis (ENSAI). Their primary research interests encompass data depth, machine learning, computational statistics, robust statistics, explainable AI, multivariate data analysis, functional data analysis, and data envelopment analysis.
